Want to create exceptional service experiences for your customers? To make it happen, you’ll have to extend service and care to everyone in your organization’s orbit – including your employees, their families, and the communities they live in.
My clients at The LUX* Collective excel at this. Caring for their community and their people is central to the LUX* Collective’s mission. By serving and contributing to schools, hospitals, and other local institutions, LUX* demonstrates that they truly “care about what matters.”

Ron: But then you’ve also said the property itself exists in a context called the community. Correct. Where our physical property is, where our team members go home to be with their family, where their children are going to school and you’ve actually extended this, We Care About What Matters to include the community.
Paul: To include the community, definitely. We’ve taken it to schools. There are many examples of that in the different hotels. We’ve taken it to the Ministry of Health. We’re helping the hospitals with their team members. How to inculcate that care, that caring philosophy with the ministry. We’ve signed an MOU with the ministry and we are helping them because they saw the transformation.
Ron: Right, of well-being.
Paul: Correct. What it does, and how and the output and therefore they can bring that into the hospitals, the clinics, even the day clinics, the care for their patients that’s going to produce a better outcome.
Ron: It’s not really a surprise that hospital and hospitality share the Latin root, which is host which means to care for in one’s home.
