Launching survey requests from emails

We’ve created a new ‘Share on email’ option that makes it easier to use email for sharing surveys.

You can use this to:

1. Embed an image of a survey question (NPS, CSAT, CES) into an email and then manually embed the survey link to the image
2. Use an email distribution service, like Mailchimp, to embed survey requests in emails, newsletters or campaigns. This option embeds an active image that allows people to answer the first survey question directly from their email.

When someone answers the question in the email, a new tab will open with your survey, and that answer entered for them.

As with all our surveys, responses are only captured when someone completes the form. If a respondent clicks a score in their email and then closes the survey without completing it, the responses will not be recorded. Mention this in your email (or the survey) to encourage survey completion.
